Good Luck Jake Dill!
Somers Point is very proud of our own Jake Dill, he is a finalist for the National Sea Perch Competition out of Drexel University. Sea Perch is an underwater robotics program where students build underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles. Jake will be going to Indianapolis next week to compete.
Good luck Jake, a remarkable achievement!
Important NJASK Information
The 2013 NJASK handbooks came home in the backpacks of Grades 3-8 at the end of February. Please review this information with your child. These handbooks consist of sample test questions, rubrics, testing tips and much more. Below are electronic versions of these handbooks for you to help your student improve his/her academic performance on the NJASK.

Parent Portal
The Parent Portal gives you, the parent, an opportunity to view your child’s attendance, grades, assignments, schedule and transcript for grades 4-8. Parents also have access to review their child’s current contact information, which may be used to help the school maintain accurate contact data.

Parents Group Book Fair
Our in-school Book Fair begins on May 28th but you can begin your book
shopping now at the Online Book Fair. Visit the Book Fair Homepage at Jordan Road Book Fair and click on the Shop Now button. Online shopping is available from May 23-June 3. You can create wish lists and invite friends and family to shop with eCards. Best of all, purchases benefit our school and will help us achieve our Book Fair goal. All online orders ship for FREE to the school, after the Online Fair has ended.
Don’t forget to look for your teacher’s online Wish List and add a book or two to your order for their classroom library. Click on the Classroom Wish List tab to see if your teacher is participating.
